Alex is learning how to swim, and the progress has been tremendous! She can now swim to the side of a pool after jumping in, tread water, and retrieve an object from the pool floor. Here's a video.

Alexandra counts!
Alexandra is now 6-and-three-quarters-years-old, and she understands a lot more and repeats pretty much any word she hears. She will spontaneously ask for her iPhone, a hug, or to play her favorite game with me, "Up," where I suspend her in the air using my feet. Her therapist says she is talking much more--they demand she ask for everything--and we continue to hope for more progress in these years to come. Here she is counting for the camera.
